The Information Technology Department was created in May of 2007. The focus of the department is to formulate and carry out a unified technology plan for all of county government to include:

  • Centralized Purchasing
  • Client Support
  • Support of All Data and Telecommunications Hardware and Software
  • Network Management
  • Data Security
  • Vendor Management

Centralizing technology purchasing and support allows the county government to ensure compatibility throughout all departments and to leverage our investment in network infrastructure; thereby, saving taxpayer dollars and significantly reducing downtime.
